Gaaaaalentine’s Day

When everyone is looking forward to Valentine’s day, we should make GALENTINE’S DAY an official holiday.

What is Galentine’s day, you may ask? You are missing out if you haven’t watched “Parks and Recreation”. An episode was aired when the character Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) created a fictional day about ladies celebrating ladies day! Now this day can be a celebration of women’s accomplishments, empowering one another, or similar to friendship day, but just for LADIES. How ironic? A day celebrated right before Valentine’s Day. Yup you read it right.

Ladies, it’s a day given to us!
This is the day to leave your husband or boyfriend home and to spend time with your girlfriends

You will be surprised to know this fictional day is now booming across North America.

As Leslie said, “It’s only the best day of the year!” Make sure it is spent with the ladies you love and cherish the most: your mom, friends, co-workers, etc.

As for me, I’ve collaborated with…four Montreal Fashion Bloggers!

Here are a few ideas on how you can plan your GALENTINE’S DAY!

You can always go out to a coffee shop as its trendy nowadays, but hey, if you’re not a fan of coffee (like me), you can always go out for brunch or to have tea!

And I dare you to do something out of your comfort zone. For instance, hit the Karaoke bar. It’s time to enjoy those fun and cute moments with one another.

I would highly recommend using this day to face all your fears with the ladies you trust. For example, if you are afraid of heights, then it’s the best time to go out bungee jumping! Hey, I know its wild, but this day is all about celebrating your achievements.
